Telemedicine could be a generic term that is employed to outline numerous aspects of health care at a distance. In its long term application, telemedicine may be outlined because the use of telecommunication technologies to supply medical data and services. The key facet of telemedicine is that the use of electronic signals to transfer data from one website to a different. Telemedicine is turning into most recognized as bearing on remote clinical care and consultation through the utilization of electronic imaging instrumentality. By exploitation Telemedicine technologies and a well-planned timeline, the AMEDD (Army Medical Department) has with success drawn down its hospital complement from one hundred sixty five hospitals to simply sixty two hospitals within the force structure-a sixty two decrease. Telemedicine services that integrate electronic medical records will decrease the quantity of cases wherever doctors cannot access patient's records. In line with the Institute of medication, concerning half-hour of physicians couldn't have accessed their patient's files in existing non-telemedicine systems and seventieth of the records were incomplete.Keywords

Objectives: Optimization of single node / port in the Reformed Digital Micro Fluidic Biochip (RDMFB) has been carried out in this work. The Digital Micro Fluidic Biochip (DMFB) consists of two reservoirs / ports, one for sample (any biological solution) and the other for reagent (chemical solution). In each port two samples and two reagents, in the form of droplet i.e. nano / micro litre volume have been placed in respective ports. Based on application, at each instance only one solution has to be routed from reservoir to mixer and then to detector. In order to implement this, an optimization technique has been posed to decide which one has to be routed first. Methods: The optimization algorithm opted is of an evolutionary algorithm – Genetic Algorithm. It has been implemented for both sample port and reagent port. This algorithm has been opted due to its life science characteristic to get a better and optimal solution for any biological sample when it is being injected or diagnosed. Two samples in the form of droplet i.e. nano / micro litre volume have been used to route, both will be any biological sample which is placed in same node / port, similarly, in reagent port chemical solution has been placed. The port has to decide which one has to be routed based on application with the help of control pin used. Findings: The 15 x 15 array DMFB has been reformed into a new one in order to minimize the number of cells in an array. By this way of a modification, a 12 x 12 array DMFBi.e. RDMFB has been designed. The optimized output has been simulated in Xilinx platform and FPGA synthesis has been done in Plan Ahead software.Application: DMFB plays a vital role in our day-to-day life for various biological diagnoses in clinical laboratory. It is a lab on chip device.Keywords

Health scenario is changing at a faster pace all over the world. Patient satisfaction is one of the established yardsticks to measure the success of the services being provided in the hospitals. A patient is the ultimate consumer in the hospital. Patient satisfaction is a dimension intended to get reports or ratings from patients about services received from an organization, hospital, doctor or health care provider. Patient satisfaction is a highly desirable outcome of clinical care in the hospital and may be even an element of health status itself. A patient’s expression of satisfaction or dissatisfaction is a judgment on the quality of hospital care in all its aspects. Whatever its strength and limitations, patient satisfaction is an indicator that should be indispensable to the assessment of the quality of care in hospitals. From the patient’s perspective, hospitals can be scary and unfriendly places.Keywords
